After months of rumors, Insta360 CEO Jingkang “JK” Liu has confirmed that the company is developing two mirrorless interchangeable-lens cameras. One is expected to feature an unconventional design unlike anything currently on the market.
Insta360 reportedly wants to use AI and other new technologies to make interchangeable-lens cameras easier for beginners. No specifications have been confirmed, although rumors point to a possible Micro Four Thirds system and the name “Z One.” The company may reveal a prototype at CP+ in February 2027.
