A new firmware update for the Insta360 X6 brings additional recording options and more control over AI Director edits. Version v1.2.35 comes in at 165.3MB, according to the update screen shared here.
Here’s what’s new:
AI Director: Manually select the date range of footage used for edits.
360 Video: Added support for 4K at 120fps.
Flat Video and Flat PureVideo: Added 24fps and 48fps recording options.
Flat Photo: Added 4:3 and 3:4 aspect ratios.
New 360 Slow-Mo mode: Supports 4K at 200fps, 120fps, and 100fps.
The release notes also mention routine performance and system stability improvements, although that portion is cut off in the screenshot.
